“I’ve known Melanie for 20 years.  We have a really great rapport.  She’s developed a sound that’s so
authentic.  Songs like “In Jesus Name We Pray Amen Amen,” reflect who she is and the message
she wants to convey.  I’ve enjoyed watching her grow as an artist, and I look forward to making more
music with Melanie in the future.  ”—Mandy Barnette / Grand Ole Opry Member
“Though my mom and dad have been gone for many, many years, this sweet song reminds me of one
of the gifts they gave me, leading me to faith in Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” — John Berry
/ Grammy Winner

Nashville, Tenn – (I took out Country Singer out because I am not really a country singer.) Melanie
Walker’s latest single, “In Jesus Name We Pray Amen Amen” is a masterpiece, and her
performance is sheer perfection. Walker’s pure and undeniable country tone laced with this vibrant
foot-tapping, Bible-focused, sing-along song will remind people of the power of Jesus Christ.
Written by Daniel Johnson, Carl Ray Williams, and Wood Newton, These three writers have penned
a song for the ages. Newton himself is known for writing such hits as “Bobbie Sue” for the Oakridge
Boys, “Riding Private Malone” for David Ball, and “Twenty Years Ago” for Kenny Rogers, to name
a few.  “In Jesus Name We Pray Amen Amen” was produced by Grand Ole Opry Member, Mandy
Barnett, who in her own right is known as one of the premier country music voices of our time and
one of Nashville’s enduring musical treasures.
Walker says, “I am excited about my new single In Jesus Name We Pray Amen Amen.   It’s the
kind of song that gets in your head and then lives in your heart. The lyrics remind us of what Jesus
has done for us and what is possible because of it.
The fiddle, guitar, mandolin, banjo, and background vocals around Walker’s voice are incredible, to
say the least. Count on remembering this song every time you say, “In Jesus Name, We Pray Amen,
Amen”.

“In Jesus Name We Pray Amen Amen” is available now on all streaming services.

others. Walker says, “God uses music to speak to us in the deepest places of our soul. He delivers,
heals, and satisfies like nothing or no one else can.”

Walker says this about her music, “It doesn’t exactly fit into a genre. Most call it Country Gospel.
Some call it Christian Country, and others Southern Gospel. I sing songs I love with a message I
love. I trust God through his spirit to use what he has placed in me to bless those he allows me to sing to”.  Walker has a long history with the TCT Christian television network, where her
TV program Come On In With Melanie Walker can be seen every Saturday afternoon.
