Melanie
received the 2009 Country Female Vocalist Visionary Award in Friso, Texas,
on November 14th, 2009. She was also privileged to participate in a tribute
to June Carter Cash who was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame
that same evening.
TCT Publishes a devotional
book of 30 of Melanie's "A Good Life" teachings
Melanie is nominated for The 2009
Visionary Awards Christian Country Female Vocalist
Melanie is included
in the top five nominees for the ICM Awards Music Evagelist category. The
Award show will be held at Trinity City in Hendersonville, TN on Thursday
October 15, 2009.
Melanie received Agape Fest 2009 Media Personality Award for her work on
"Come On In with Melanie Walker."
Duet with Marty
Raybon went to #1 on the April Christian Voice Christian Country Chart
"If We Never Meet Again"
was #6 in December and #7 in January on the Christian Country chart in the
Christian Voice Magazine.
"What the King Didn't Know" released at
Christmas continues to be added to play list around the country.
