We got to spend time with so many great people who love the Lord and love to sing about him as much as we do. I was blessed to recieve two awards: Media Personality for the TCT “Come On In” program and Excellence in the Christian Country Music field. Thank you all who voted for me. As an added bonus Gerald and I got to spend time with Ann and Darrell Crawford, good freinds and previous pastors from our time together at the Monroe Street Chruch of God in West Frankfort, Il. We ate lunch at the Gaylord, Texan Resort. What a place. It felt like a mini vacation away from the rest of the world. We also got to spend time with my uncle Bobby and his daughter and son in law, Vickie and Joe. Bobby is my mothers only brother and it is always a pleasure to spend time with him. It helps me to feel closer to her when I am with someone else who knew and loved her.

What an exciting time. I hope you have found the new TCT “Sessions” music special series. If you haven’t you can go to tct.tv and see our previous 4 programs. We have had great guest: Jason Crabb, Alathea, Woody Wright, The Fox Brothers, Tommy Brandt, Marty Raybon, Beyond the Ashes, Three Bridges, The Nerkhorns and One Voice.
We have several group lined up to come in: The Palemetto State Quartet, The Birchfields, T Graham Brown, Buddy Jewell, Hearts of Saints and the Roys. It airs on Saturday night during the music special hour on TCT. Keep a watch out for the program and be sure and tell what you think.

Such good things happened. On Monday we taped a new TCT Music program with guest Jason Crabb, Woody Wright and Alathea. We just decided on a name, “Sessions”. We will be talking more about it during the TCT Praise A Thon and announcing the air date some time in the future. I also had the priviledge of going to Tulsa, OK to tape the “Making it Happen” program with Victoria Lee. What a great lady. Ann Downing was there along with two new friends, CoCo who is a comedian and Chris Hester a wonderful singer. I had the added bonus of getting to visit with my friends and former pastors, Fred and Nancy Starkweather. They were great host while I was in Tulsa.
